Porto's is a family-owned Cuban bakery and cafe chain in Southern California, started by Rosa Porto, who sold cakes from her home after emigrating from Cuba in 1971 and opened the first storefront in Echo Park, Los Angeles, in 1976. It is best known for its Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls and guava pastries, along with pressed Cuban sandwiches and celebration cakes.
